Turmeric
We discovered the many benefits of turmeric while caring for Hayley's boxer, Marmite. He was diagnosed with leukemia and wasn't tolerating his medicine well. She started adding tumeric to all his home cooked meals and almost immediately saw a change in him. There are many studies to show that tumeric induces cell death in many types of cancerous tumors (both in animals and people!) as well as slow many brain diseases. It is also a natural pain killer and anti-inflammatory which is a huge benefit to older dogs with arthritis.
Sun Butter
Allergen Free Treats
Our allergen free treats are made from Sun Butter, pumpkin, and Rolled Oats. They are free from many common allergens including peanuts, tree nuts, milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, wheat and soybeans. This is very important for dogs that have food allergies or sensitivities or their family members that react to any of those ingredients.
Peanut Butter
Not all peanut butter is made equal!
The peanut butter that we use in our treats DOESN'T contain xylitol. We pride ourselves on using only the best ingredients in our treats. We don't use low quality and we don't use fillers. Every ingredient in our treats is there for a reason; taste, health, they're beneficial, and they look good to boot!
So, back to peanut butter, what are the benefits of this little legume?
Peanut Butter contains Vitamin E, H, protein, magnesium, fiber, Folate, just to name a few.
Vitamin E
We know this is good for the immune system. That being said it can help against sickness and diseases.
Vitamin H (AKA Biotin)
Yes, Biotin is part of the B complex vitamin series or B7, but it is more commonly called Biotin. It aids in digestion, growth, and muscle formation.
Fiber - Need I say more :-)
Folate (AKA Folic Acid) – is also part of the B vitamin sector B9. An important vitamin essential for cell replication and growth.

Red beets are a great, natural detoxifier and can help relieve and prevent skin allergies and itchiness in dogs. Regular detoxification is necessary to prevent common ailments and disease.
1. Red Beets help fight inflammation. Red Beets contain a substance that is known to suppress certain inflammatory signals that are involved in arthritis and atherosclerosis (hardening and narrowing of the arteries) during the aging process. This substance can help alleviate arthritis symptoms, protect the arteries of your senior dog as well as alleviate allergy symptoms.
2. Red Beets have anti-Cancer properties. Red Beets contain unique phytonutrients and antioxidants that can help fight free radicals and can help prevent certain types of cancer.
3. Red Beets help detoxify the body. The pigments in red beets hook up with unwanted toxins to neutralize and rid them from the body. In doing so, these pigments protect healthy cells from the toxins, including cells in the brain and liver.
